ICP-MS Instruments Employ Interference Management Technology

The 810-MS and 820-MS ICP-mass spectrometers improve performance and throughput for the elemental analysis of complex samples. Core to both instruments is the high efficiency, 90° ion optics and double off axis quadrupole, delivering low background noise and sensitivity for high analytical performance. The 820-MS employs the interference management technology, Collision Reaction Interface (CRI). Featuring advanced automated-tuning and instrument setup routines, CRI enables labs to achieve lower detection limits easily and more accurate quantitation for difficult elements in complex samples. ICP-MS equipped with CRI enables accurate detection of trace levels of elements, including arsenic (As), iron (Fe), selenium (Se), chromium (Cr) and vanadium (V) in water, soil, chemical and biological samples.
